  16. Since in Martyn's case this depended on the user, the problem is
  17. unlikely to be system-related; more likely it's the exact environment
  18. variables which are set, or their values. Sending me whatever env
  19. variables you have set might help.

  21. Even better would be if you could run xdvi under a debugger, make it
  22. crash, and then see where the crash is happening. I doubt the problem is
  23. deep; my guess is it's related to the changes I made so XDVIFONTS
  24. wouldn't override anything but font paths. But that's just a guess.
